-wikepedia.Boy oh boy, i remember sleeping throughout Fahrenheit, another of moore's well received documentary. Fahrenheit is not exactly what i would pay money for, to watch in a cinema. Bowling for columbine on the other hand was gripping, so good, i tried not to blink an eye. I've learnt so much about this documentary, less about the DOP shots(MS,LS), but how he put the scenes all together and create such a powerful documentary.
I'm truly inspired to a point that i wanna make a documentary on the local music scene someday.
:)
i want to continue blogging about the whole design process, but my toothache is killing me, so later then.

An interesting show, probably because very little people dare make a documetary much like this one.
ReplyDeleteI like the way he provoked that guy at the end of the show.
By the way, Jack Neo's films are similar to his in a way, he does try to send us some messages reguarding politics, but not in a very direct way like Michael does.
-Brian Low
which sucks, because some of us can be so narrow minded.
ReplyDeletewell said brian. but mr. neo's in your face style is that he makes his movies' characters live/act-out the message rather than the audience gets it from the film-makers naunces. this is the reason why when 'Children of Heaven' was remade into 'Homerun', the message did not come across as it was an Iranian voice that was being pass off in a pre-independent singapore setting.
